Frequently asked questions
What does Kinsta cost for two websites with 30 GB?
Single 20GB is $350 a year and includes one WordPress install with 10 GB of storage. Their pricing page lists a second site at $30 a month, so $360 a year, and an extra 20 GB of storage at $20 a month, so $240 a year. That configuration comes to $950 a year, roughly €819.
WebQuickster STANDARD includes two websites, a staging environment and 30 GB for €186 a year at the regular price, or €60 for the first year. Over three years that is about €432 against about €2,460 for the same setup at Kinsta.
Why is Kinsta more expensive?
Because it is a different tier of product rather than a marked-up version of the same one. Kinsta runs each site in its own isolated container across 30 data centres, and staffs support around the clock in eight languages.
WebQuickster runs WordPress on Hetzner hardware in Germany with CPU and RAM allocated per account, and support by ticket. The pricing structure also differs: at Kinsta each additional site and each block of storage is a monthly add-on, while at WebQuickster the plan sets a fixed price for two sites and 30 GB.
What about email?
Kinsta does not include mailboxes. A domain email address has to come from Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or another provider, at that provider’s monthly price per user.
WebQuickster STANDARD includes 30 mailboxes across two domains, with no storage quota per mailbox and no annual expiry. They run on separate mail servers, so email never uses any of the 30 GB of web space.
How long are my backups kept?
Kinsta’s plans list 14 days of backup retention. WebQuickster keeps every daily snapshot for the whole contract period, encrypted and stored outside the customer environment, so you can restore a single file or the entire site from any day inside the term.
The difference shows up when a problem started earlier than you noticed: a plugin conflict that broke a contact form three weeks ago, or content overwritten last month. On day 15 the older version is no longer there to restore.
Is 30 GB and two websites enough?
For most projects, yes. A company site or blog with a few hundred images typically sits under 5 GB. A shop with a large product catalogue can reach 10 to 20 GB.
The 30 GB covers both websites and the staging environment, and email sits on separate servers so it does not eat into the space. If you need more, PLUS gives three websites and 50 GB, PRO five websites and 80 GB, each at a fixed price rather than per-site add-ons.
What resources do I actually get?
WebQuickster STANDARD allocates 3 vCPU and 3 GB RAM to your account through Linux cgroups, with 512 MB PHP memory and no size cap on the databases. Those numbers are yours whatever the neighbouring accounts are doing.
Kinsta’s pricing page does not state RAM or CPU for Single 20GB. What it does state is that each site runs in its own isolated container, which is a different way of solving the same problem. If you want the figures before you buy, ask their sales team for them in writing.
Does it matter that WebQuickster only has servers in Germany?
It is deliberate. The servers are at Hetzner in Nuremberg and Falkenstein, in data centres certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and BSI C5 Type 2, and your data never leaves the EU. The Article 28 data processing agreement is published on the site and also concluded with Hetzner as a sub-processor, which is what a European business needs on file.
Kinsta Inc. is a US company running 30 data centres worldwide, including European locations, so where your data sits depends on the region you pick when you create the site. If most of your visitors are outside Europe, that choice is worth having.
How does support work?
You open a ticket in the dashboard and get an answer in English, German, French, Danish, Swedish or Norwegian. Tickets are checked every hour, including in the evening, and the reply normally comes quickly, at most within 24 hours.
Kinsta staffs support at all hours in eight languages, none of them Scandinavian, by phone, email and WhatsApp. If you need someone reachable at three in the morning, that is a real difference.
What does auto-setup by site type do?
You choose what the site is going to be: blog, online shop, business site, news site, education, community, real estate and more. WebQuickster then installs WordPress, the Blocksy theme and the plugins that type of site needs, including WooCommerce for a shop.
You start from a tidy setup instead of an empty WordPress where you have to guess which twenty plugins belong there. The start guide stays in the dashboard and can be printed or downloaded as a file for your own AI assistant.
